Fusion time!
The Master’s Edition version includes fully-colored and shaded versions of Poe, Patrick, and what I can only assume we’re calling Poetrick.
Unlike the Park-and-her-grandkids comic, this is one of those gag bonuses that didn’t happen in canon at all. I will not confirm or deny whether Smushed Being Fusion is possible in the canon universe. You’ll just have to draw your own conclusions.
Another little side gag I included as a bonus page in one of the print volumes. And then redrew for an omake week. Or possibly the other way around.
…Cub’s name is about as generic as you can get, but I think it was a specific reference to the polar-bear character in The Christmas Bear, a picture book by Henrietta Stickland.
Walker is fully aware of the Streisand Effect, and has no interest in playing into it.
She’s not particularly up on memes. But those have a way of getting everywhere, even when you least expect them…
In print, this is the break between Volume 5 and Volume 6, and a lot of stuff will get re-introduced or finally-explained in the next chapter.
It’s also where these bonus comics fall in the original archive order! Perfectly timed for a slightly-longer chapter break. I’ll be posting these Mondays and Thursdays until we have the whole set.

I’ve already talked about how I thought there would be more IRL-inspired workplace humor with the characters’ jobs, right? But the comic moved too slowly, none of my jobs lasted long enough, I barely had a chance to maneuver the character into somewhere before I was working somewhere else.
So this is basically the only true-to-life joke I managed to wring out of That Holiday Season I Worked At A Department Store. (This, and the time Sparrow had a whole dream sequence forced on her by the awful mall holiday soundtrack…)
I drew a monochrome version of this as bonus art for one of the trade paperbacks — I think it was Volume 2?
Pretty sure that version came first, and I liked it so much, I updated it into this red-and-green-bedecked version for the website. But maybe the online omake came first, and I recast it in monochrome for the books.
I liked it enough to draw it twice, is the point.
Genuinely not sure if the media finally milked dry all the “War On Christmas” rhetoric, or if when I stopped watching the Daily Show/Colbert Report, I just got out-of-range to be able to hear it.

Look, the Team Rocket jokes with Walker & co. write themselves. Personally, I’m still more proud of “doing unethical experiments — and passing the savings on to our shareholders.”
This was inspired by a news story, can’t for the life of me find it now, about some shockingly-rich black celebrity getting followed around in a store. (…by suspicious security guards, I mean, not by fans.)
