I finished annotating volume 1 of the Master’s Edition in mid-April 2021, sent the files off to the printer…and, with one thing and another, didn’t get back to the annotating until mid-June. Starting now! You’ll have to decide if the style reads any differently.

The updated Chapter 12 cover is an homage to Vampire Knight…a series that I never actually read/watched in full, I mostly just got a lot of visual inspiration from the character designs. The two guys on the manga cover are Main Girl’s love interests; Miranda isn’t romantically interested in Poe or Patrick, she’s just deeply possessive of both and really needs to pick one.

Just attempting these poses was a heck of a level-up in composition and perspective from the original cover…
