Cybele might be the most fashionable Being in the series. She definitely gets more costume changes per form than a lot of the others have.
A couple pages ago she was in more casual clothes, but Tall Cybele is back to wearing her default Fancy Dress. If this was in full color, I would’ve definitely experimented with pink patterns on the fabric, not just pink accent hearts.
…this has nothing to do with most of the page, but let’s face it, most of that is Plot Setup. I’ll talk about it with more insight when the pieces start coming to fruition, honest.
Cohen: . . . as long as we can solve the “why did you suddenly disappear” problem. You’re useless to me if the public gets the idea I let you go.
Cybele: You could have your own Being pose as me! For visits, or to release new videos.
And if someone who won’t be fooled insists on stopping by? You put out a press release . . . saying you found a way to kill Beings. And you’re not sharing it, because you’re afraid people would abuse it . . . but you know for sure that it works.
Cohen: Do you realize that “a way to kill Beings” is the subject of Walker’s latest secret research? . . . No, I guess you wouldn’t, given the whole “secret” part.
Cybele: Even better! You want to find out how well she’s spying on you, right?
So, give her some bait she won’t be able to resist! Maybe she’ll get sloppy and you can catch her in the act!
Cohen: And even if not, the search could keep her distracted from the really dangerous projects I’m working on. Yes . . . I can see it.
Bennett: Oh, good! That puts you one step ahead of Walker already.
