There’s a few different romances that get developed over the course of BICP…but a splash panel this big devoted to a tender moment is pretty rare, isn’t it?

Even rarer: a big panel devoted to a Being having private feelings. Not performing or interacting with any humans, their Master fast asleep, showing what the Being does of its own volition when nobody’s watching.

Since Kara Lynn spends so much time being quiet, and her expressions tend to be more muted/blank than a lot of other characters, even when she’s not literally frozen in place…maybe it’s more important to give her moments like this, just so you have as much sense of her personality as you do with the rest of the cast.
