Next chapter! In which the updated cover art goes full-on Utena Silhouettes.
The background pattern, again, was put together with elements from tigers-stock, and is the same one I used for the windows in this Leif & Thorn scene. Nothing like reuseable assets!
And the rose texture was just a public-domain image, mixed with the magic of blending layers.
The original cover art, meanwhile…well, thematically it works, but I was still in “why draw backgrounds at all when you don’t have to” mode.
