Chicago CD coverArriving in Chicago while listening to Chicago (the band). Specifically, “You’re The Inspiration.”

This is the first time I tried to draw the exterior of Walker International HQ. Or any of the exteriors in Chicago, really. I feel like the big wide scenery panel could still use more detail — but, like, in a “redrawing from scratch” kind of way, which I’m not up for. So it stands.

Timothy: Put on something . . . thematic.

Reseda: Already on it.

Chicago.

Timothy & Reseda (singing): You’re the meaning in my life
You’re the inspiration!
You bring feeling to my life
You’re the inspira-a-tion . . . !

Timothy: I don’t know if I’m ready for this . . .

Reseda: You’ve been rehearsing for weeks! You got this.

Timothy: What if Walker still doesn’t take me seriously?

Maybe I should have worn something else. Maybe with pants.

Although I guess all that should matter to her is how confident I sound, not how I look . . .

Jany: Hi! Are you . . . Mr. Mattei? I’m not sure you look like a Mr. Mattei.
