Big Love screencapThe aesthetic of this cult is very pseudo-Mormon. Probably has something to do with how Big Love‘s “isolated compounds that enforce old-fashioned styles and repressive, insular communities” were my primary visual reference for Christian-based, cult-y settings.

Also, it let me do things like Timothy’s laundry jump-cut scene. Pretty sure it was one of the first moments in this arc that I came up with.

Timothy (thinking): I’m not doing the laundry, I’m just bringing it in. That shouldn’t be a problem, right?
