Pronoun graphicA few chapters from now, Cybele refuses to give pronouns for her Master, or to say any names, including Cohen’s. Which is pretty smart. Unfortunately, on the earlier version of this page, she flubs both those things…and that’s an error on my part, not hers.

So, surprise! This is the Master’s Edition version of the page, where I fixed it. (Did the same for the omnibus version of page 25, too.)

Cybele: Oh, they could get into plenty of trouble. But it won’t be because I let them down.

Cohen: Do you . . . love him?

Cybele: I love him and/or her and/or them the most!

(FLASH)

Cohen: Then can’t you stop and consider . . .

That maybe, sometimes, the best thing for him would be . . . to disobey him?

Cybele: There’s a lot I can consider, Mr. Smartypants. But what would be the good of it? Can you keep from crying by considering things? If they have no plan to get us out of this, refusing to believe in them won’t fix that. And if it turns out they had it covered all along, I will have been sad for no reason.

So I choose to believe they have a plan!

Bennett, in hoodie: Dammit, why didn’t I make a plan for this?
