Chapter Eleven Page 13

So, yeah, a few of you saw this coming.
The question now is how many people will guess what happens next…
Bianca: Um. I, uh. Was that okay?
Patrick: Yes! It was very okay!
Bianca: . . . have you been getting taller?
Patrick: Uh-huh. You think it’s dashing. Should I turn back?
Bianca: Don’t worry about it! This is just fine.
Next, you switch scenes!
Duh.
Um… Miranda surpasses Mrs Balachandran as the ultimate cockblocker of this comic.
I admit, I’m a little weirded out by this turn of events. I never saw any kind of romantic tension or attraction in their bond.
Agreed. It feels like a month-late April Fools joke.
What happens next? We have to wait a whole weekend to see if Bennett gets a plan together.
Hmm, now who isn’t expanding the Master/Being relationship into the sexual arena in the cast? So far it’s Bennett and Cybele (the man is an idiot but not a pedophile) along with Timothy and Reseda.
Yeah…I don’t know if she can handle being that big of a Dom if they actually start a relationship.
I will find it interesting to watch though.
Also, I appreciate the magic circle that went with that kiss.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered, he’s hers.
I think that might actually him changing heights not because of the kiss.
whoa, I didn’t see that coming!
Mh, I could only see vibes for this since the last two pages or so. I’m not sure if I like this as an endgame as long as the rules for beings don’t change. Also, I have the feeling there’s some “cockblock” coming up next time!
Woooo fan service.
But like other commentators said, there wasn’t really much…explanation or build up to this moment, no real sense of attraction.
And…has he received a power up O.o????
Honestly, I think that most Masters would end up sexually involved with their Beings at some point. Unconditional love is pretty damned attractive even as poorly as most humans do it — and Beings already try to do things that please their Masters (where “adjusting appearances and forms” is a thing that can be done). Add in spending the majority of their time together, the fact that while Beings don’t seem to enjoy sex “sexually” they very explicitly enjoy giving pleasure (including, one would imagine, sexual pleasure) to their Masters, and the fact that Beings are (almost?) pathologically scared of losing their Masters’ affection, and it seems to me that celibate Master/Being relationships would be by far the exception rather than the rule.
Doesn’t mean it’s not morally questionable. Just means I think it’s darn near inevitable, except for those rare Masters who have, say, vows of celibacy, or who have an unshakeable conviction that it is immoral.
Me? I’d like to say that I don’t know what I’d do — but I know too well how I respond to love and adoration. I’d adore my Being right back — and also cuddle with her, and sleep with her, and engage in various forms of polymorphous perversity with her. Because I’d want it, and she’d want to give me things that I wanted, so we’d both be getting what we wanted. And I’d feel really, really guilty about it for the first couple of weeks, until I saw that my Being was actually happy and secure and enjoying our relationship, and then I’d relax and enjoy it myself, and her, and our relationship.
Wait, how did Patrick know that Bianca thought it was dashing? Did something more than a kiss happen?!
It’s the ubiquitous Being superpower: ability to sense what their Masters like.
