For this year’s Transgender Day of Remembrance, instead of the traditional memorial strip here at BICP, I drew one over at Leif & Thorn.
Bianca: So seeing the text on the screen reminds you of this . . . of seeing it on you.
Patrick: Not long after that, my memory goes blank . . .
Dr. Rosen: Anyone knows that you destroy a golem by erasing the part of the text that gives it life. With the Beings, it is not obvious that they have such text at all. But once you know what they are, you know that all you have to do is find the script, and you can erase it . . .

Cohen: Okay, lemme modify that last order: Hold still and shush.

Miranda’s looking at the spells as programming has hopefully given her better tools to manipulate and save golems. Namely the concept of a sandbox copy to see if the change you want to make is correct without destroying the original.
And sleep off the alcohol before programming. That’s a valuable lesson from Cohen.

One figures out what they are and how to access their script/code, the other thinks they are living eldritch highlander they’re can be only one angels…well this would be an interesting exchange at some point.
