Chapter Seven Page 10
Jany: Mum’s probably right. It’s probably nothing to worry over. You spaced out, that’s all. Had an off moment. It happens. It’s not like this is a pattern, right?
Kara Lynn: This is the first time I know of it happening. And it wasn’t like it made any trouble, since you were there.
Jany: Well, if it happens again, I will find an expert to help. No matter . . . (*YAWN*) . . . what Mum and Dad say.
Kara Lynn (thinking): You fight so hard to defend me, Master . . . Even when I’m scared, you always know what to do.
(WHOOSH)
I’ll work harder than ever tonight. I’ll give it my all.
For you.
… I feel decidedly uncomfortable with the way this storyline seems to be going. o_o Just what kind of work does Kara Lynn do?
Does she have to put on the red light?
Aww, Jany’s dragon mobile! Kara Lynn what are you doing??
By the by, interesting to note that Kara Lynn appears to be afraid of something. What is it, exactly?
… Can beings get pregnant?
If they were to get pregnant, that would imply that the genetic material in beings is so intensely close to human that they can indeed cross-breed and produce an offspring. Of course, following this, would such a creature be a mule, or would it be a viable breeding species?
Furthermore, if they can’t breed, then how did they come to be?
It was answered a bit in the q&a about beings, and the answer was that there is no knowledge on how any of the beings came to be. Note that that means new beings and the current ones.
Gosh no, Kara Lynn!!! Jany wouldn’t want you to do that! ._.
