Bianca: How weird is it that, after being instantaneously zapped to a mysterious magical battlefield that exists outside of normal time, my first reaction is, “Really, no comfortable place to sit?”
Patrick: Well, you’ve done this three times before. You’re probably getting used to it by now.
Miranda: It’ll do.
Now to play: is Sparrow there, and if so, where.
What if she got trapped inside a tiny side-cave? Would she just have to sit there the entire time?
If this cave managed to snag Sparrow too, I’m going to laugh like crazy.
It’s also got me thinking; how long has Sparrow had this ability? When she was younger, did she mistake it for dreams or daydreams?
Got it: it’s not the fights that allow the Beings to remain functional. It’s visiting this alternate area. I wonder what would happen if they tried exploring?
Next “fight” should be a scavenger hunt!
would make sense, like going back to breath your own atmosphere, or the whole interdimensional failure bit sci-fi does occasionally that implies if you left your reality (which you are made of) the other reality may try to reject you as foreign matter. So going back makes you healthy and strong again to resist it.
