Chapter Twenty Page 20
Apr07
Cohen: You really haven’t done this before, have you?
Bennett: You’re . . . actually hitting on me, aren’t you.
Phone: MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD / AND THEY’RE LIKE / IT’S BETTER THAN YOURS / DAMN RIGHT / IT’S BETTER THAN YOURS!
Cohen: . . . that’s my daughter, I gotta answer.
Bennett: You use that as a ringtone for your daughter?
Cohen: She changes it whenever she hacks into my phone. She used to hack my stuff without letting me know at all. I think this means we’re bonding?
Best 4th panel in the history of webcomics. I’m not even mad that they didn’t kiss it was that good.
Miranda noooooo
No, dude. Your daughter still doesn’t like you. She just doesn’t care enough to let you know.
Um…maybe I misread something, but Bennett did not seem okay with the situation. Can I get some clarity?
All Bennett’s protests have been that Cohen isn’t serious. He’s not okay with the idea of letting down his guard only to have his feelings used against him (or just laughed at). Those objections were lifted when he started thinking Cohen might be genuine — and discreet, I.e. wouldn’t push Bennett out of the closet in public.
He’s definitely okay with the idea of kissing, as evidenced by “my Being says I like you and your lips are distracting.”
Did Cohen always have purple eyes???
Oh yes he always did. :O
