Sparrow: So, okay, I know what you’re thinking: “Wow, Sparrow, that raises so many concerns! You could violate anybody’s privacy — security would mean nothing to you — and what if this got into the hands of somebody who isn’t so ethical, huh? You could unleash an age of legendary thievery the likes of which the world has never –”
Timothy: Actually: What I was thinking was, “I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Sparrow: Hey, Miranda did it! Bianca and Patrick saw it with their own eyes! That’s what gave us the clue that there had to be limits. She’s done an okay job of growing scruples recently — I think — but . . .
Timothy: Okay, maybe that means it has limits — or maybe it means the whole thing was a trick.
Sparrow: Well, if it does work for me, then we’ll know for sure, right?
Timothy: . . . wait, you’re going to try it? Now? Even if Miranda can really do this, what makes you think it’s safe to pull on your own?
Sparrow: Okay, you got me! I do not have three to five years of teleporting experience. But everyone has to start somewhere, right?
Reseda: She’s being very careful about this, boss.
We talked about the precautions she’s taking. They’re smart. If you back her up on this, you can only help, not hurt. The worst that can happen is nothing.
Dear god, Reseda is cute in that last panel
Yeah, I’ve forgotten everything I was thinking about a working teleporting spell.
Fuzzy fluffball pussykins!
If everyone’s so skeptical, is anybody willing to go for a scientific test run? Every great theory needs tests!
Reseda is in one of those poses where you really want to scratch her belly, but you also know that if you do, she will bite. (Well, not really, since she can’t hurt humans, but the intention is there.)
