Okay, in this chapter I'm going all-in with Cool Battlespace Waterfalls. (Complete with a background bridge, over this one.)
It's just a friendly spar for Patrick and Reseda, they're not in "desperate to win, pulling out all the stops" mode. No serious injuries happening today.
And, aww, this might be Bennett and Cohen's first time having breakfast together...
(SLASH) (ZAP) Bennett: So . . . when do I get to meet Patrick? Not even for a fight — I know you said he was hurt. Just to meet the guy. Cohen: Hey, I never told you my Being’s name. Looked it up, huh? Bennett: If you must know, I had the fact-checkers at the network look it up. We don’t give them anything else to do, so their turnaround is fast.
